The genus Tacca, which includes the Bat flowers and Arrowroot, consists of ten species of flowering plants in the order Dioscoreales, native to tropical regions of Africa, Australia, and south-eastern Asia. We have grown chantrieri and integrifolia and found them to be rather easy so long as they are kept moist and humid. They do well outside during the warm months here in the southeast.
