This Ginger is the source of the root we all love in dishes (Z. officinale) or of shampoo (Z. zerumbet). The foliage on Z. collinsi and zerumbet are beautiful. They produce stems with leaves on opposite sides up to 6' in height. The flowers are cone like on short stems that are green, yellow or red and very surreal when seen for the first time! Our focus is on the rarer, hard to find species and cultivars. These are not small rhizomes,they are well grown and established plants that should bloom this year. We ship freshly dug fully rooted plants packed in moist peat during the growing season or dormant rhizomes during winter for planting in the spring.
